QCF/ NVQ Assessor, (Trainee or Qualified) Health & Social Care - Bedfordshire
Do you hold an NVQ level 3 in Care (or equivalent qualification) and have experience up to managerial level within the Health & Social Care industry? Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to move into assessing?
A leading national training provider is looking for a Care NVQ/QCF Assessor to join their team covering Bedfordshire. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the Care (Elderly, Learning Disabilities, Dementia or Adult Care) industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their work places. Previous assessing experience is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to work for a large organisation who can provide full support in obtaining the Assessors Award.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their qualifications (QCF Diplomas and Apprenticeships)
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards
- Liasing with managers and verifiers
This role will suit someone who has experience at managerial level within an adult care home. You must already hold the NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification. It is essential that you are able to manage your own time travelling within the Bedfordshire region to visit different work places. Due to the locations of the learners a driving licence and access to a car is essential.
In return you will be offered a competitive salary and package including:
- Basic starting salary of £19,101 with a payrise to £19,631 after 6 months
- 25 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays
- 40p per mile when travelling on business
- Contributory company pension scheme
- Bonus Scheme
- Company car after 18 months
